Health and safety management is an important aspect of our business. Minesite Environmental’s Health and Safety Plan is intended to be dynamic and evolve as the company expands and as legislation and industry practices change.

Systems

  • Procedures are in place and include work relating to the use of equipment, remote working conditions as well as technical methodologies to enable the safe completion of a task
  • A job safety analysis (JSA) is undertaken prior to the commencement of field based work
  • Employees are equipped with PPE (in accordance with AS 4602 class D/N) necessary to perform assigned tasks

People

  • Employees will present for work each shift in a suitable physical, mental and emotional state which will enable personnel to perform their assigned tasks
  • Employees will conform to your company’s Fitness for Work Policy and participate in drug and alcohol tests
  • Employees hold a current senior 1st aid certificate

Vehicles

  • Our vehicles are equipped with two spare tyres mounted on a specifically designed system which improves manual handling when changing a tyre
  • Our vehicles are equipped with a 1st aid kit, flashing beacon, orange flag, two spare wheels, and when necessary a satellite phone, EPIRB and GPS
